I'm also have this problem. I've reinstalled many times, cleared my cache, and restarted, over and over as well as trying older versions of the client to no avail.
Any help would be great.
(Apologies for tagging along with this thread, I thought it better than wasting space with a new one)

The latest pre-releases aren't always stable. that's a fact that we've come to live with.
Going to an older version, as Auntie suggested is a way to prevent the sorts of issues that you are plagued with.
You can save yourself a lot of issues (if you're not a creator) by sticking with a release that works for you until you are forced to upgrade. As a creator, you can stick with a release that works for you until you're forced to upgrade, or you have to upgrade to get a fix/new widget/etc that you need to create. _________________ As sexy and suave as Sean Connery. I'm having this problem too, I just got a reply to my help ticket and it looks like they are looking into this issue. They just say update and open the client to clear your cache... Well the issue here is I can't open the client. Im waiting to hear back from them again but I think we just have to wait. _________________

No such luck, still getting the crash message prior to login page loading. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling different versions of imvu, clearng my cache manually, restarting my laptop numerous times, connecting directly via ethernet instead of wifi as suggested by Auntie in a different thread.
I'll remain hopeful that whatever is causing this issue will be solved as soon as possible.
EDIT: finally ater 3 days of the persistant issue, i can now get onto the chat client, thank you imvu. _________________

I got a similar message from the support crew.
It's nice to know how to clear your cache when you can't even open the client hahaha |
